Wind in Wiltshire!

Id managed to get a week off work and got roped into dropping some friends off at Brean over in Somerset. This seemed like the perfect opportunity to go for a session over with the white horse lads its been a while since ive been over and the last few times its always been when there was no wind (it’s a bit of a curse I have it seems)

I got over and managed to find my way up the horse only taking one wrong turn at the top there was a bit of a breeze and after sitting about for a bit trying to decide if I should launch a kite another flyer turns up and that’s enough to convince me. There wasn’t much but enough for some fun and a few jumps a nice chilled out fly. That night I spent at Nath’s lasagne was on the menu and an early start the next day meant I had to get my head down and grab some sleep. About 3 in the morning I was awoken by Toby, Nath’s dog. Toby always seemed really timid but right at that time he was wide eyed bushy tailed and going like a rabbit in heat with my shoulder, wrestling him off I managed to get back down and woke up the next day to go off to TKC towers for a coffee and a look around until Terry had got up and it was a reasonable hour to go for a fly with him. We went first to a new spot, terry had been before and it was a dream to fly on even if we couldn’t stay for long due to unforeseen circumstances. We left there stopped off in a little pub then went up the horse to finish the day off dean was with us and later Nth turned up. Ok so its not the smoothest wind im going to be flying in but it was a good trip and ill be looking forward to another.
